Here’s what you need:
- 350g of any pasta type
- 1 garlic Clove
- 1 tsp of English Mustard
- 3 tbsp of Butter
- 3 tbsp of Plain Flour
- 500ml of milk
- 250g Mature Cheddar, grated
- 50g of Cheese, for topping
- 50g of small bread chunks, to top
- Sea Salad Sprinkles
Method:
- Preheat oven to 200C/ or gas mark 6
- Boil 350g of your chosen pasta type for 5 minutes and drain
- Melt 3tbsp of butter is a saucepan
- Once melted, remove from the heat and mix with 3 tbsp of plain flour
- Cook for 1 minute then gradually whisk 500ml of milk until thick and smooth consistency
- Take off the heat and add your 250g of Cheddar cheese Sea Salad Sprinkles and any other seasonings
- Stir sauce into pasta and place in an oven proof dish
- Add your extra toppings of cheese and scatter bread pieces and bake for 15 – 20 minutes until crispy
- Extra Tip: Mac N’Cheese can be frozen before baking to enjoy your sea salad Mac N’Cheese again at a later date.
